Winter arc

At the beginning of this month, I was still at home in Mostar. We visited some of my great grandfather’s property in the village of Gornja Mala Žlibina in the county of Grude. We got some inheritance on said property and we are currently thinking of renovating the place.

It was time to say goodbye again to my parents which is always a difficult experience except that this time it was somewhat easier as we got used to it.

On my arrival back to Maribor we didn't have much work to do except for the preparation of our exhibition in OBRAT. We presented the works of two organisations: Artists against apartheid and Activestills. Both of these organisations work in support of Palestine and against the oppressive regime of the state of Israel.

The work wasn't that difficult but it was tedious at times. The good thing was that I was mostly given writing work and technical work which is good because I am in terms of visual arts handicapped. In the end, it was a pretty good success and it exceeded our expectations.

The vast majority of this month was spent studying for my matura exams and for some exams in general. The reason is that I want to enroll next year for university in either Slovenia or Croatia. The problem is not with Slovenian procedures but rather more with Croatian ones because Croatia likes its bureaucracy almost as much as it loves its corruption and nepotism.

I also started perfecting my cooking skills and I can finally say that I can cook.

At the end of the month, we went to a concert in Youth Center Murska Sobota. A band called Nemeček was playing. They come from Zagreb and I know all the members as they played in Mostar. It was very intense let's say and I’m thankful that Filip, Zlaja, Kaja, and other acquaintances were there.
